- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Horrible practice. I worked there as a teenager and loved Dr. Taylor. I am relatively healthy and don't need doctors often, but used them all my adult life for kidney infections, colds, etc.- what I would consider normal health issues that don't happen often. I called from vacation a couple of years ago with a kidney infection and was told to go to the ER. While I don't have these issues often, I have had them enough to know the symptoms and it has been documented in my medical records. Certainly not a new issue. I immediately called my gynecologist who was more than willing to call in an antibiotic until I got back to town and could see a doctor. This morning, I woke up with my throat and ears hurting and called for an appointment. I was told since I had not been in for three years; I was considered a new patient and could not be seen. To me, the definition of family practice is a doctor who sees you for routine things when you need them. Apparently, for this practice you need to come in when you are healthy so they will see you when you are sick. I would suggest finding another doctors office. These folks are not friendly, concerned, or helpful.December 06, 2016by Jill Brock
